Acceptable Ads - Allow List

There are times when you might want specific websites to be able to serve you advertisements. That may be because you trust the website to deliver decent advertising content that is truly relevant, or that you need to disable adblocking to access content on the website. Within the Total Adblock extension, there is a section called Acceptable Ads where you can effectively whitelist specific websites so that ad blocking doesn’t take place on them.

To add a website to the acceptable ads list via the extension, follow the steps below:

Open Total AdBlock

Go to Settings

Click on Allow List

Add your Current Tab to the Allow List

Make sure you are on the website you want to add to the Ad Allow List and you reload the page, once added.

Total AdBlock is Paused

When Total AdBlock is paused, this means that ads will show up on this site. When you leave the site that is listed as allowed by Total AdBlock, the extension will turn back to being active and will continue to blocks all ads.

Any websites added appear in a list here and can be removed at a later date if required.
